Alcoholism, a disorder characterised by a bodily, psychological, and emotional need to get a specific amount of alcohol to function, effects several people throughout the United States. Hundreds of millions of people suffer with this disease; deal with it on a regular basis. If there are tens of thousands of people who battle with this disorder in themselves, then that means there are close to or more than 100 million Americans who are affected by alcoholism. How is this? Well, alcoholism doesn’t simply influence the man who’s the intoxicating, it affects everybody around them. Alcoholism affects an alcoholic’s family also as it can the alcoholic himself or herself. It affects them in many different negative methods could be physical, mental, or emotional.
